Alex Testere is an artist and writer hailing from the Great Lake State. After earning a BA in Linguistics from Virginia’s College of William & Mary, he started a blog, taught himself to cook, and became a private brunch chef in New York City, traveling across kitchens as “The Breakfast Bachelor.” Now, you’ll find him in his Brooklyn apartment tending his menagerie of houseplants, sipping wine on a beach (if only in his dreams), or hunched over a pottery wheel attempting to bring a lump of clay to life. He is currently an editor at SAVEUR Magazine, where he writes and illustrates for print and web.
